What I do at Good Energy

As a Billing & Payments Manager, I oversee the full billing lifecycle across domestic, SME, and I&C customers, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong financial governance over more than £200m in annual invoicing. I lead end‑to‑end delivery of non‑energy charges, back‑billing policy, Direct Debit operations, and payment allocation, ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and revenue protection. I work closely with Business Account Managers to support key strategic accounts, drive aligned priorities, and maintain high‑quality customer outcomes. With a strong focus on billing accuracy, data‑driven insight, and process improvement, I help reduce regulatory exposure, strengthen settlement performance, and prevent unbilled revenue. I also lead a high‑performing team of Billing and Payments specialists, shaping daily priorities, building capability, and driving a cohesive culture that supports both business goals and individual development

Who am I?

I bring extensive experience in energy‑sector customer operations, including 19.5 years at Opus Energy where I oversaw the full debt‑recovery process for live and final customers. I have a strong background in managing data and strategic teams, as well as leading third‑party relationships to improve performance and customer outcomes.
