My role as an Industry Operations Squad Lead is to look after a team of Settlements Specialists. From managing their development to making sure they have access to all the tools that is required to carry out the Settlements processes. I also oversee the process priorities within the team to make sure we are on target and hitting our KPIs, and leading on any projects alongside BAU. As well as managing relationships with our 3rd parties and acting as a point of escalation for the team. 

I have had over 6 years of experience in the energy industry, previously working for a different energy company before joining Good Energy in May 2023. Starting off as a Disputed Reads Specialist and then taking a leap down the leadership route as the Gas Industry Team Leader. As the Gas Industry Lead, I was responsible for developing the Gas industry operation processes in line with industry requirements and supplier obligations. 

During the last year and a half of being with my previous energy company, I stepped into the role as a Process Development Team Leader where I was responsible for optimising and the automation of operational processes across Gas and Electricity within the Industry Operations department and leading a team of Data Analysts.
